Portland, OR -based Typhoon have announced a new album entitled White Lighter, which will be released next year. The band have also released a cinematic teaser trailer for the album which has been premiered over at IFC. The video is beautifully shot and, although it features very little actual music from the album, definitely deserves your time. It reminds me strongly of Terrence Malick’s The Tree Of Life (which is meant as a compliment, I know some people hated that film but I loved it), so much so I was expecting Jessica Chastain to pop up a any minute.
