Lanterns on the Lake, a Newcastle based sextet, released their debut full length, Gracious Tide, Take Me Home, about two weeks ago on Bella Union. It’s a considered affair; gracious and sweeping throughout.
It’s generally been received well too, the BBC described it as “a luminous, lilting, lovely debut album, perfect as the nights begin to draw in” enjoying it so much, they invited Lanterns on the Lake in for a live session on 6music. It’s only available for one more day, so check it out here.
